What to Expect in Class
Our line dance classes are carefully structured to help you build confidence and progress naturally, while still keeping every session fun and varied.
-
Lessons follow on from one another, so we practise the same dances over a couple of weeks
-
New dances are introduced regularly, usually every other week
-
Each session begins with two-three warm-up dances, including one or two “straight in” dances with no teaching
-
We revisit dances you’ve already mastered in creative ways, for example:
-
Dancing in contra
-
Dancing in a circle
- Dancing two dances at the same time
-
Dancing to different styles of music
-
Because of this, no two classes are ever the same, even when working on familiar dances.
Why This Works for You
This approach means:
-
Beginners can learn at a comfortable pace
-
Regular dancers continue to improve technique and confidence
-
Everyone stays engaged, challenged, and motivated
Whether you’re new to line dancing or building on existing experience, our classes are designed to be supportive, progressive, and fun.
